How it works
From water to packed ice

The RSW system rapidly removes heat from freshly caught seafood by circulating chilled seawater through the fish hold.

The refrigeration cycle compresses refrigerant, condenses it into liquid and expands it through an evaporator where heat is absorbed from the seawater.

Chilled seawater continuously circulates around the catch for fast, uniform cooling while excess heat is safely discharged overboard.

At the heart of every system is a high-efficiency marine shell-and-tube flooded chiller designed for maximum heat transfer, easy maintenance and continuous operation.
